PENENTUAN JURUSAN SISWA SMA BERDASARKAN MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN ALGORITMA FUZZY C-MEANS

 ABSTRACT

Useful computers to support teaching and learning process as well as for other educational institutions. High school students convergence is educational improvement efforts directly related to a student as a part of the increase in Human Resources. Therefore, it needs to make an implementation decision making for predicting majors high school students, based on Multiple Intelligence owned by students using one of the clustering algorithm is Fuzzy C-Means.

 This study aims to apply Fuzzy C-Means algorithm to classify high school students based on multiple intelligence in determining student majors with high accuration. As for the method of data collection using questionnaire survey and sample data is the average value of data questionnaire survey was completed by the students of 98 high school students Nurul Jadid than 200 students and a data value (the average value raport class X and class XI) students Nurul Jadid armed 2012. Where the value of report cards are used as a comparison value from the calculation of the value of a questionnaire with the following parameters: science majors include logic-mathematical intelligence, musical intelligence, visual-spatial intelligence, kinesthetic intelligence, and naturalist intelligence; IPS majors include linguistic intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, musical intelligence and kinesthetic intelligence; Language majors include linguistic intelligence, musical intelligence, visual-spatial intelligence and kinesthetic intelligence.

 From the test results, Fuzzy C-Means algorithm in the determination of the degree courses at the high school based on the multiple intelligence more accurately (Namely with the accuracy of 73.47%).
