ABSTRACT

 Evaluation of faculty performance can be done in various ways, such as by giving questionnaires to student questionnaires to assess the quality of the professors who teach a course. Fuzzy Inference System (FIS). FIS is a method that interprets the values in the input vector, draw conclusions based on a set of IF-THEN rules are given, and then generate the output vector. The main problem in this study is the method of Fuzzy Inference System is more accurate to determine the performance of lecturers teaching field STT Nurul Jadid, this study aims to apply the Fuzzy Inference System is more accurate to assist in the performance of lecturers teaching field STT Nurul Jadid. The results of processing the value of Fuzzy Inference System with Mamdani method has a better value / accurate than the Sugeno method so that it can be concluded with mamdani method for faculty performance is obtained 0% have low performance, 2% and 98% average performance of high performance. While the Sugeno method for faculty performance gained 2% have low performance, the performance was 0% and 98% higher performance. This study can be continued with more of an indicator for the level of accuracy that is generated is approximately correct. Necessary data set with repeated questionnaires in order to obtain more accuracy significantly.
